The phenomenon that occurs in Al-Quran Hadith learning is that students' ability to understand and memorize is still low due to the age of the children who are not yet able to memorize independently, especially in the lower classes, so to achieve learning goals, appropriate methods are still needed to overcome them. Based on observations carried out in class 1 of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Wali Songo Sumuragung, the evaluation results showed that the minimum completeness criteria had not yet reached 85%. Therefore, researchers used the drill method as an effort to improve
students' Al-Quran Hadith learning outcomes. The method used in this research is classroom action research with an instrument in the form of an observation sheet for student activity during the administration of actions and tests to measure the ability to master the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith. The research results showed that after carrying out two action cycles, students experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the Al-Quran Hadith subject. This can be concluded from obtaining a score above the KKM, namely ≥ 70, amounting to 92.8%.
